LPCA Clinical Supervision in South Carolina

  • GROUP SUPERVISION | 120-MINS | $45

Group supervision consists of 3 or more supervisees and one supervisor. These sessions are four hours in length and consist of at least three presentations and a discussion of administrative or other clinical and/or ethical concerns. Case presentations will examine counseling techniques, implementation of theory, and counselor formation. Depending on the size of the group, a rotation for case presentations can be managed as the group commences. Group supervision facilitates discussion about cases and their clinical issues between peers so that individuals can get a diversity of clinical perspectives. Group supervision is a very good supplement to individual supervision because it helps you develop clinical skills as you move along your supervision journey.

  • Individual Supervision| 60-MINS | $75

Individual supervisory sessions consist of one supervisee and one supervisor. These sessions are one hour long. Each session consists of a case presentation and a discussion of administrative or other clinical and ethical concerns. Case presentations will examine counseling techniques, implementation of theory, and counselor formation. Individual supervision is offered on a monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly basis.

  • Triadic Supervision

Triadic supervision consists of two supervisees and one supervisor. These sessions are two hours in length with the first hour focusing on a case presentation, and the second hour focusing on a discussion of administrative, ethical, or other clinical questions. Case presentations will examine counseling techniques, implementation of theory, and counselor formation. Supervisees often enjoy getting to hear different perspectives as well as learning from other’s case presentations. The triadic format also helps to reduce the cost of supervision. If you are interested we can work to arrange triaidic supervision for you.

  • Virtual Supervision

If supervisees are unable to come to the office for supervision sessions but would still like to receive supervision, they may do so through distance supervision via the Internet. Case presentations and other supervisory paperwork are formatted for the distance model and can be shared through secure platforms.
