Available for Licensed Professional Counselor Associate’s (LPCAs)
XIomara A. Sosa, LPCS/C
Clinical Supervision is a requirement for clinicians seeking licensure.
Supervision is defined as assisting the supervisee in developing expertise in methods of professional counseling practice and in developing self-appraisal and professional development strategies.
The supervisor provides nurturance and support to the supervisee.
Navigating licensing requirements after finishing graduate school can be confusing.
I help guide new clinicians through their transition from graduate school into the clinical world.
My program and services are geared toward postgraduate supervisees who are Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPCAs).
I provide individual and group supervision, in person and online/virtually.
I am committed to providing culturally competent, multicultural, and bilingual clinical supervision.
I am dedicated to the appropriate guidance and support of up-and-coming counselors/therapists to promote culturally competent and multicultural skills to serve all populations.
Supervisees have access to a culturally competent supervisor to help them develop their skills in working with diverse multicultural and special populations including military veterans, Latinx, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
I offer bilingual and multicultural clinical supervision to supervises.
